This Year has been hard but Praise God that I can look back and know that He is good.

Wowohwowowowowow!

I just did my budget today and I was able to add in new funds to my savings category; car maintenance, adventure, healthcare. I am so blown away that I can now start saving in these areas. Before I would use my emergency savings for all unexpected as well as routine expenses since money was so tight. I only budgeted for the necessities and did my best to save every penny that I could. But from today onwards, I can now save in different areas and pay things as they come up from the fund that I’ve built specifically for that category.

I just laugh because I remember the prophecy I got last year on November 23rd, 2019

“I…see just such an excitement for finances and for business…God was saying that He loves you…”

And the one on the November 28th,

“Olguine,
‘And there he lets the hungry dwell and they establish a city to live in;

they sow fields and plant vineyards and get a fruitful yield. ‘

Olguine, a woman led to a place to proposer that she may grow in stature before the Lord.

I remember what my finances looked like in January of 2020. I remember crying because I was in the red and I saw no way of climbing out. But even then I knew that God is Kind. So I held onto that truth, through unemployment, adventures, and depression. And man oh man God, You came through! I’m looking at my finances now and I want to laugh and cry and sing Your praises because Your blessings and abundance are beyond my wildest expectations!

‘Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,’

Ephesians 3:20

But at the same time, a small part of me can relate to what Jasmine Morris said,

But the truth is when you’re a business owner…you fear losing money or running out [of it]… But God constantly reminds me of Kingdom. He constantly reminds me that my life is not my own… The fear of running out of money is not something that goes away when you hit five, six or even seven figures. If you don’t trust God now with money, you never will…. I’m learning to [be obedient, trust, and rest.]Source

‘Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.’

Matthew 6:34

“Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.” This verse floats into my head, and I know that the Lord is whispering His promises into my ears once again.

Do not worry.
Fear not.
Do not be afraid.

These words are written over 100 times in scripture. Most of the time they are followed by the words, “For I am with you.”

‘Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?’

Matthew 6:27

Nope, so choose to trust God. Well, that’s what I’m doing. I have chosen to live in today, and not fear the morrow. I can still plan for the future and choose not to grip tightly to it, because it hasn’t even come to be yet. I have chosen to focus on what already is, today. I have chosen to be present, unmovable, and trusting today. I want to be the kind of person who laughs without fear of the future.

The blessings did not come by my own strength. It’s what the Lord promised me over a year ago and He has constantly reminded me of it every month.

“I am Always with you, I will Provide Streams for you, my Beloved.”

At the end of everything that has occurred this year, I will continue saying that, God IS Good!

“There is nothing else to do but praise your name.”

Some of the other prayers I had were for a group of friends. For a job where I felt needed. And to be able to fall in love with Southern California. They were all answered instantly or within months.

I hope you are encouraged by my testimony. I pray that it gives you hope and courage to continue your own journey. Don’t be afraid to reach out and share your heart with me, I’m always willing to listen. As always, thank you for being a part of my journey.
