Hey there! Thank you so much for checking out my Graphium Case pattern!

I wanted something that would hold my pens, pencils, and colored pencils all in one place so I wouldn’t have to hunt them down.

The Color Pencils that I keep inside

When looking for stitches for this case I knew that I wanted something that was simple but looked intricate. That’s when I came across this lemon st pin. It had everything I wanted and I had so much fun with it. I hope you enjoy making this as much as I did!
Happy making and thank you for choosing OhMy!

Pattern:

Tools and Notes

Gauge: None

Size: 7 ½ incheswide and 8 inches long

For this pattern you will need:

  1. Lemon Stitch via Persialou
  2. I always chain with a hook that’s 2 sizes up

You will need to know how to:

  • Chain
  • Single Crochet
  • Double Crochet

Crochet Abbreviations:

Ch: Chain
St(s): Stitch(es)
Sk: Skip
SC: Single Crochet
DC: Double Crochet
*: Repeat instructions that are within **

To Begin

Ch 30, sk1, *1sc, 1dc,* 1 sc, turn
Ch1, sk1, *1dc, 1sc,* 1dc, turn
Rep these two rows until desired length or until you have a square.
The color pencils I own are 7 ½ long so I made my case 8 inches long.

Folding Time

Fold your square into a third, between 2 or 3 inches if you did it 8 inches long as well.

How I folded the case

You can mark the top of your folds with stitch markers, to know how far up you have to sew.

Sides

Now sew up the sides. You can use the whip stitch or just slip stitch the sides with your crochet hook.
