What does it mean to be gold?
Zahab, (zaw-hawb’); from an unused root meaning to shimmer; gold, figuratively, something gold-colored (i.e. yellow), as oil, a clear sky:—gold(-en), fair weather. of brilliance, splendour (fig.)

Gold,
I am pulling the gold out of you this season
You are being refined

To a flowing substance, liquid gold
Always fluid, free flowing, effortless
Always fired, heated, and warm

Like seasons change,
From green to gold, so do you

‘The name of the first is Pishon; it is the one which skirts the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. And the gold of that land is good. Bdellium and the onyx stone are there.’

Genesis 2:11-12
