We are 6 months into the year and I feel like I’m back to where I was back in January.

Which is awesome because in January, so many things happened and what I went through during that season is helping me out so much right now. Since the beginning of the year, I have been keeping track of everything I’ve gone through and learned during this year by month and by day through journaling. Here are some of the things I wrote in January that I find encouraging now and what is shifting my mindset.

“This year is going to be a year of dancing. Of having the ears to hear God’s song and dancing to the rhyming of Heaven.”

Trusting and waiting on the Lord:

  • You can have rest in the delay!
  • Patience is waiting and hoping expectantly.
  • When God tells you the outcome He doesn’t always tell you the process but he already told you that you’re going to make it.
  • I know that joy is coming and I am expectant. Therefore, I count it all joy. ‘…yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.‘ Habakkuk 3:18

What God has been teaching me:

The “” are when God was speaking to me.

Renewing my mind:

“Your thoughts, words, and actions are the seeds you will harvest later on this year no matter the circumstances. So what are you sowing now? What are you sowing today? Is it another bad habit or are you setting yourself up for the shift you would like your life to take?”

Barry Bennett Source

Right thinking will always generate faith. When you find that starting place then your outcome is generated from that starting place. Problems refresh you, bless the socks off you. The rested, refreshed, joyful, full of trust. Out of your innermost being flows rivers. To be happy and refreshed. Problems aren’t here to make you weary or tired but the exact opposite. We are not meant to be empty, we are meant to be full.

Graham Cooke

Don’t carry mountains, conquer them!

Maybe me?

Faith is when you stop listening to yourself and start talking to yourself. Speak what God has spoken to you. Listening is passive, speaking is active.

John Bevere

Fasting is when we empty ourselves, God fills us.

John Bevere

The fear of the Lord is to be terrified of being away from him.

John Bevere

As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

John 9:5

Believing in God:

“Nothing is impossible when walking in the promises and blessings of God and with God”

My dad

“Is anything too hard for the LORD?

Genesis 18:14

“I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?

Jeremiah 32:27

Hard: pala’ great, difficult, wonderful:—accomplish, hard, hidden, things too high, marvelous(-ly, -els, things, work), miracles, perform, separate, (be, great, make) wonderful(-ers, -ly, things, works), wondrous (things, works, -ly).

Having more confidence in myself:

The prayers of the righteous avail much.

James 5:16 NKJV

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

II Corinthians 1:20

‘In mercy and truth Atonement is provided for iniquity; And by the fear of the Lord one departs from evil.’

Proverbs 16:6

& to always be Growing

Therefore I ask that you do not lose heart at my tribulations for you, which is your glory. For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.’

Ephesians 3:1-21

‘And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.’

Colossians 2:6-7
