My first project the month of May was for a dear friend. She had asked me last month if I could make her a warm hat that hugged her head, with no slouch or fold up brim. Excited for the chunky yarn and by this new idea of a fitted hat, I got to work. I used the foundation from B Hook Knitting chunky beanie pattern as a foundation, “co 44st” and made it up as I went along from there. The rest of the information I got from a beanie I knitted two year ago called, the Rizzo Beanie.
Ah, I also wanted to tell you, while knitting this beanie I was also filming my May Journal and took some clips from that and made a fun Knit With Me video to go along with this pattern. Enjoy!
