Inspiration behind the Cross Body Bag. Spoiler alert! It was suppose to be a clutch.

Literally that is what I set out to do but this bag just took on a life of it’s own. I started out wanting to make it a small hand clutch that you can hold underneath you’re arm but it had to be big enough to hold a phone. My phone is 7 inches long and I thought that I would make it 8 inches so it’d fit with a little wiggle room. Than I wanted to make it tall enough for my phone in case I wanted my phone standing up. Than I wanted to make in big enough to hold all my other things. So like I said it took on a life of it’s own. But that I’m complaining I’m quite happy with the way it turned out.

I love how it uses simple repetitive stitches that creates such a beautiful bag.

I hope you enjoy making this as much as I did.
